Delete your SmartFolio account

Option 1: In the app

1. Open SmartFolio and sign in.
2. Go to Profile and scroll down to Delete Account.
3. Type your account email to confirm, then tap Delete my account.

Option 2: By email (no app needed)

Email us from the address you use to sign in to SmartFolio and ask us to delete your account. We confirm the request by replying to that address and then delete the account.

When it happens

Your account and the data listed below are permanently deleted 30 days after your request. Until then you can change your mind: signing back in during those 30 days cancels the deletion.

What is deleted

• Your account profile (email address, name, user ID)
• All portfolios, holdings, transactions and dividend records
• Watchlists and price alerts
• AI Coach chat history
• Notification history and preferences

What is kept

• Anonymised usage analytics that can no longer be linked to you
• Purchase and subscription records that Apple, Google or our payment provider must keep for tax and accounting law (held by them, up to 7 years)
• Records we are legally required to keep for security or fraud prevention

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it in your Google Play or App Store subscription settings.

Delete some data but keep your account

In the app you can delete individual transactions, holdings or whole portfolios at any time, clear your watchlist, and turn off AI data sharing in Profile → AI Coach data sharing. To have any other specific data deleted while keeping your account, email us and say what you would like removed. We complete these requests within 30 days.
